I can confirm the diode and the chip are connected on the same trace, But I think the schematic you attached is not for Hp spectre x360. I have the laptop's schematics but i have no idea how to look for the component on the schematics since i have no experience in reading schematics. Hello everyone, I changed the tps65982da chip due to a shorted circuit and the short on the caps around it is gone now, But the diode beside the chip is still shorted to ground.
