Re: denon avr-s730h amp SMD transistor ?
what failed was q5105 and q5106 where shorted along with q2104 on the small board on the heatsink plugs in at bn51b. also resistors r5117,r5118,r5119and r5121 were all burnt.
was only checking q5107 because i get a different reading on that part then every other channel (the pic i used was q5707 same part different channel )

Re: SMD transistor ?
[QUOTE=redwire;1262196]Uh what marking codes do you read? You're a little closer to the part than a jpg.
to me looks like the markings on it are YV and AF sidewaysRe: SMD transistor ?

Re: electrovoice_zlx_15p up in smoke
Finely got the TL3845 in mail and that fixed it, stopped R57 and R37 from burning up.

electrovoice_zlx_15p up in smoke
one of electrovoice speaker stopped working the other day pulled it apart and found a whole section burnt up. replaced q1(mosfet) and a bunch of resistors around it. turned it on and it worked all voltages are there (+12 +15 -15) but then it started smoking again in a different area resistors R57 and R37. cant find anything else shorted but if i replace those burnt resistors they just get smoking hot and burn not sure why. added the schematic with whats bin done any help would be appreciated about to throw in the towel on this one...
