Just Had a Toshiba C650 come in with a blown component, it was sent to Toshiba for repair but they sent it back saying it needs a new motherboard due to a blown Inductor.
Its located next to the Ram slots ( L6002 )
Does anyone know what part this so I can attempt to replace it ?

Hi Guys,
I have a CQ60 which works fine off the charger but wont charge the battery.
The charging notification is stuck on 75%, but the battery doesn't actually hold any charge.
I've tried a new battery and charger but still the same problem, I've even tried the uninstalling "Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery" trick.
Anyone have any ideas ? -

Toshiba A100 - Ticking noise when plugged in
I have had a Toshiba A100 come in for repair, it wasn't powering on, so I assumed it might be DC jack problem, before I replaced the DC jack, I could hear a ticking noise coming from the DC jack area.
I replaced the jack, but it still wont power on, and I still get the the same ticking noise.

I think Skywalker is right, Your temps seem fine for chip removal, any higher will result in popcorning.
What flux are you using ?, Using the right flux is essential for chip removal, I've heard good things about Chip Quick liquid flux so you might want to look into thatLeave a comment:

It sounds to me like a graphics chip problem, the L200 has the Intel GMA X3100 chip which does suffer from problems occasionally.

I have a Asus eepc s101 that works fine someday, but on other days, it wont even switch on, all you get is the charging light.
Does anyone know what it could be ?
