HI!
I have replaced all the parts with correct value replacement.
Now i have 1.69V on the ACDET pin.
And the main power rail is now shorted.
I checked the coils the battery charging circuit is shorted.
I removed the mosfets the short is gone one of the two was shorted.
Now the main power rail is 20V and ACDET is 2.69V.
What could cause this? I will order new ones, will they blow up too?
Sorin had a video with almost the exact same issue. He couldn't figure out it either.

Asus ROG G513QC liquid damage
Hi!
I have an Asus ROG with some liquid.
I already replaced most of the damaged components.
But there are some resistors that have OL resistance but i don't have the exact value to replace them.
In boardview it carries a signal called VRAM_DGPU_TON.
First is 2.2 Ohm 5% (R67218)
Second is 499K Ohm 1% (R67217)
also R6016 Measures 210k instead of the 130k in boardview.
It's part of AC_SHORT_DETECTION circuit.
Should I replace that?
I have 1 ohm, 3.3 ohm, 100k, 470K resistors.
Is it OK to use those...

Found the solution.
Just flash Bios from clean HP.
when you boot into bios go to security tab.
Press CTRL+A and open System IDS
You can type in your in here if you cant find them go to https://partsurfer.hp.com/ and type in your serialnumber
Feature byte is case sensitive and you should not type in the spaces.
I did it 8 chareters per line and it worked.https://Found the solution.<br /> Ju... you cant find

Hi!
I tried to update the bios on this computer and it failed and corrupted the bios.
I tried the hp recovery didnt work.
I downloaded the bios bin for HP flashed it and it boots but i have no serial number etc.
It was in MPM but serial number was readonly could not set it.
DMI tool didn't work too.
The serial number in UEFI tool is in a padding area but it is in different size than the new one.
I have old bios backup and it has serialnumber i found it in hex editor.
Could someone please transer the old data to the new bios.
Serial...

Hi!
I could use some help.
I have a 645 G10 with some liquid damage around the bios chip.
After cleaning, the laptop does the same as in RHS93-s reply above.

3. Machine turns on and off like this a few times
4. Finally the F5 key LED turns off and the Power LED stays white
5. If I press power button in such condition I get 7 flashes on the CapsLock LED

Bmax B7 Power Mini PC interesting short diagnostic
Hi!
I have this mini pc that doesn't want to start.
When I plug in the charger it goes into protection mode.
I check the input pins in resistance mode and they are not shorted.
But in diode mode its 0.174V
When I opened it up I saw something new, no input mosfet, just big diodes next to the charging port. I checked on the coils for shorts but didn't find anything suspicious. Only the CPU coils have low resistance but that should be normal because it's an 11th gen I7.
I injected some voltage to find the short but the board was only...
