you must change both buffers and y at same time. also i have seen the z all so be bad.unplug the y from the power supply and check your voltages, then unplug z all so ,and check the voltages again, if the z board is pulling it down...u need to replace all three at same time.

hello,i dobnt if you are still tryin g to fix your tv but if so, if the green light comes on when u press the power button . but u have no picture, the master inverter board, on the left hand side of the tv , has three small S.M.F. ON IT two of them are white and easy to see, check these two first. if they are good. there is a very small black smf on this board all so. i have seen this set blow this fuse on many sets and cause your problem. let us know what u find. joe
