Hi All,
Need help in locating BIOS chip on the motherboard of Lenovo 13 Type 20J2 S/N LR-0B02EQ 18/03.
There is a small cmos battery on the bottom side of the board. Upon removing battery can see two MXIC 8 pin ic's.
1) MXIC 25L80006E
2) MXIC 25V10358
Dumping first one only has 1mb of data. And does not look right.

Re: Surface Pro 6 password
Originally UEFI password was on. Which I forgotten. Patched BIOS boots up fine. Windows got installed correctly. But touch does not work. Can some one help?
Original capture file is Capt_original_010_ch341v144_25q128jv.rar.
Modified BIOS is "mod.rar".
Thanks...

Re: Surface Pro 6 password
Hi Ilias7790,
That worked. Don't have a touch screen to test full functionality. Taken display on external monitor.
How did you modify BIOS? Is their a guide that can provide more insight?
By the way. Thanks...

Re: Surface Pro 6 password
Hi Peste,
I just realised that dump uploaded previously was corrupt. I think my problem was choosing wrong chip. During comparision none of the dumps would be completely identical. Half was down the dump data captured was different.
I've now selected the right chip W25Q128JV. And multiple dumps are fully identical. Can you do you magic with this?...
