So the ordered keyboard has arrived. Same error message "Invalid Password". Let's see if I get into the topic of rewriting bios or if it's getting too complicated for me. Anyways thanks for your help....

I have tried:
only touch, is qwerty so should be US
original microsft keyboard via connector, is qwertz so DE
usb keyboard also DE
All three attempts bring the same error. Will try to get a USB keyboard in english.Leave a comment:

Hello
I have a problem with the BIOS password at my surface pro 3. I thought to remember the correct password, but it doesn't work. After a lot of reading and learning I created the dump and also found a password. By the way, it's the same I remember but this doesn't work. It seems that there is something between the 5 letters.
