Re: Subwoofer Power Supply Problem
I replace all six of these for posterity (not including the two large ones). All is well and I am enjoying my "new" old sub.

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hello. I came here because after searching forever, I finally found the answer to my problem. I am a chemist. I have never worked on a circuit board. But I am willing to learn. I appreciate all the posts. I live in Pensacola, Florida, where I do a lot of fishing either by wading or kayaking. I just happen to own a PSW (Rocket ULW-10) that has been misbehaving for some time. When it is plugged in and powered, it likes to buzz and hum.

Re: Subwoofer Power Supply Problem
My Rocket ULW-10 has been sidelined for over a year because of a dreadful hum/buzz. Now, thanks to this forum, at least I understand the problem. What I don't have is the knowledge and experience for working on circuit boards. Can you give me a "step by step" procedure? At the moment, the only step I don't need help on is the removal of the screws that hold the plate to the back of the enclosure. Thanks!
