the battery is original that come with the laptop and i also get a new different battery from different store still not working.
the problem is battery not detected with X mark shown on the battery graphic.Leave a comment:

yes comfirmed pin # 5 without battery =3 volts and 0 volt with battery
PR2 resistor also 3 volts without battery....Leave a comment:

the laptop function very well with the adapter.
i dont really know the bios rating power of the adapter.

the bios file not work and is no longer bepping as it use to do. and is not a hardware related problem everything intact its just booting issue....Leave a comment:

I need help with dell precision m4800 that dont detect battery. i try all the trobleshooting change battery,do hard reset , everything i know not work.it only power with the adapter and the charging led will be blinking orange light fast please some one here should help on how to fix this problem. -

I believe they might have flash the bios before
the problem is it will power on but just bepping on the screen
