I find myself at the same spot as Larry, with about 1.4 ohms on HWPG. I'm going to have to run off of instinct/suspicions on this one, and start doing some limited voltage injection to the VRM and looking for *any* displays of heat to the mosfet-drivers under a thermal camera (it could be small and momentarily, if my hunches are correct - and after verifying no voltage leakage to the core, of course) **hunch is formed from prior experience with RTX 20 card repairs.

did yours burn out? i am suffering the same burnout as other posters in this thread (TPS51486, and most specifically the small capacitor just below it); and indeed under a thermal camera this 51393P chip does in fact get warm, but in my experience when these chips show warmth it is because of a short somewhere else and rarely in these chips themselves.https://that chip is 51393P. closest...96A.html[/URL]...

Hey guys; I have a cheap soldering station (Txinlei 8586) and was wondering if it was possible to use Aoyue hot tweezers on it.

Digikey has a couple options for Aoyue hot tweezers available, and although you're not really "supposed to" use them on anything other than intended Aoyue stations, I was wondering if any of you have experience/knowledge and can tell me if I can safely use any of the available options on my cheap station.

These are affordable, and the quick shipping speed (I'm about to do a digikey order anyway) makes them attractive over a Chinese...
