I have a old laptop Lenovo Y470N which is a old model with no UEFI BIOS boot option and the builtin BIOS restricts wlan cards known as white-list WLAN cards. I need to update the CPU microcode and remove the white-list WLAN cards function. Tried to the old fashioned way of hex replacement of vender-ID and device-id method but not very useful, I have to do this all over again after new wlan card and this method turns out freezing the laptop sometime. If possible I also need to enable UEFI boot function. Any help would be appreciated.
BIOS dump attached below. The BIOS is Insyde legacy BIOS....

APW8713E APW8713 APW8713A replacement question
What is the difference between APW8713E, APW8713, APW8713A? Can we replace APW8713E with APW8713 or APW8713A? It seems that APW8713A pin 7 is LDO and NA with other two. So say I have a motherboard with APW8713E, can I replace it with the other two models?

Asus X441NC BIOS DMI info missing
My Asus X441NC laptop bios corrupted. I backed up the corrupt bios and flashed a BIOS from youtube and got it working again. But in the BIOS setting screen I found the Serial Number and MAC address is not showing and the laptop seems power on automatically when the power adapter is plugged without pressing the power-on key.
Here is the corrupt bios backed up before flashing a working bios.

Here is the no serial and mac bios, in other term DMI info missing.

ASUS V222UA VCCORE VCCCORE no voltage issue
I am repairing a ASUS AIO V222UA motherboard with i3-8130U. I cannot find the schematic of the board. It has BQ24780S, APW8713E, ATK1604ACGQW, and 4C06B 4C09B MOSFETs. I cannot find a similar schematic and datasheet of ATK1604ACGQW. Google 4C06B and 4C09B also has no datasheet shows only 4C06, 4C06N, 4C09, 4C09N datasheets can be found. The 4C09B Drain has 19V, S and G have no voltage, the nearby D, S, G of 4C06B also has no voltage only resistence to GND. The 19V 24V 12V 5V 3.3V 1.2V 1V 1.8V presents. Any suggestions?

Re: ASUS V222UA Rev 2.0 BIOS and schematics request
I borrowed a working v222ua pc which shows board ver 1.0 with the same CPU. The working one ME verson 11.8 build 3510 hot fix55. I tried to use the fpt command backup the bios but failed with not supported in this platform error. Tried CSTXE System Tools v4 r6 and CSTXE System Tools v3 r12.
Error 367: [FPTw64.exe] cannot be run on the current platform.
Please contact your vendor.
So I used afuwin to backup the bios, but found the backup bios size is about 6144KB not 8192KB. How...Last edited by hotxboy; 03-23-2022, 11:31 PM.

Asus ZenBook Flip UX561UD schematic request
I am looking for the v222ua schematic but cannot find it in the internet. After google for the chip parts I found Asus ZenBook Flip UX561UD laptop is very similar to it. I am looking for Asus ZenBook Flip UX561UD schematic instead of the v222ua schematic if the v222ua is not available.
I cannot download it. Anyone share it would be nice.

ASUS Aio V222 schematic request
I`m repairing a ASUS Aio V222 with a i3-8130U mb part number V222UA Rev 2.0. The mb soldered a bq24780s PMIC. 19v 5v 3.3v 1.8v 1.2v 1v exist, not sure bios corrupt or somewhere near bq247380s cause the boot blank screen. I backed up the original bios and not sure whether it is corrupted or not. I need schematic and boardview of this mb.
I googled a similar one named below but cannot download it.
V220IC MAIN_BD(60PT01I1-MB0C07).fz
The original bios is in another thread I posted earlier.

ASUS V222UA Rev 2.0 BIOS request
I`m repairing a ASUS Aio V222 with a i3-8130U mb part number V222UA Rev 2.0. I need a working BIOS and schematics.
I googled a similar one named below but cannot download it.
V220IC MAIN_BD(60PT01I1-MB0C07).fz
The motherboard shows V222UA Rev2.0 which has a Winbond w25q64jvssiq SPI BIOS chip. I backed up the BIOS with CH341A programmer. B.t.w, the CH341A flash tool has no w25q64jvssiq chip option, select the detect button pops w25q64bv and w25q64fv options, I used the w25q64bv and made a bios dump.
