Re: Sharp LC-40FG2241KF dead
Hi MarkC1970,
I haven't found a schematic with a component list, and probably never will as this depth of info may break manufacturer non disclosure. At the moment I'm awaiting more components from China. I've also seen the complete board for sale from https://www.tvparts.co.uk/index.php?route=product/search&search=lc-40fg2241%20 I may buy it just to get the info, good luck repairing yours. Re: Sharp LC-40FG2241KF dead
Thanks yokoono for your speedy reply but no cigar this time. The circuit described in your link is way off, I think there are many revisions and variations of this PCB. There are several white labels attached to the board and this is the one that makes most sense.
Model:-40FG5241KF
TV:- 20180510-093411
P/O:- PO41Z-2-CVTE
The smp chip is an LD7537R and the resistors supply a type 2A transistor emitter follower used I guess to make MOSFET switch promptly.

Sharp LC-40FG2241KF dead
Hello and greetings from the United Kingdom, I'm looking for some help in repairing my grand daughters 'dead' Sharp LC-40FG2241KF smart tv. I have replaced the following damaged parts on the main PCB (TP.MS6486.PB711) :- fuse FB1, switch mode chip UB101, MOSFET QB101,capacitor CB116, resistor RB106, RB148 and a track from UB101 pin 6 to QB102.
Unfortunately resistors RB105 and RB108 are also open circuit and because of their size (0201) I don't know their value. Could some kind soul please tell me or point me toward a schematic with a parts list, a very big ask but for this I would...

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hello, my name is Steve I'm a child of the 50's currently living in the UK. I've always been interested in electronics and joined the Rank Organisation in 1973 who made computer controlled scientific instruments, the 'brains' at that time were mainframe Digital PDP8 & 11 with teletype terminals. Twenty years later I spent 5 years working as a TV broadcast engineer and became obsessed with TV cameras, 1" VT recorders, audio and vision mixers. The best 5 years of my career, I retired some years ago and have recently taken...
