Everytime switch on, enable back light is missing. but sometimes after a couple hours it is being switch on, sometimes turn off then turn on, it can display, but sometimes it display for couple minutes then display goes not good then hang. Then afterwards it won't display anymore.
Is it really because of Nvidia MCP67 ? If it is, anyone knows how many degrees if i wanna take the chipset off? do i need to give flux underneath the chipset, if yes, do i have to put lots of flux underneath ? because have been trying to take off this chipset and several chips using AHCI IR6000, i have...

Bios problem usually is related to rsmrst# and s5_enable. But try it anyway, because it will not do any harm as long you have backup the original rom / bin. -

Hi there, Just want to share my case.
Sometimes on some laptop, 17-18v on power switch is normal. Try hitting power button, then turn off, then check voltage on power switch, if it goes back to 3.3v, then it is normal. I also don't know why it happens.
For turn on then turn off after a couple seconds, i have this experience where gate on 5valw to 5vs switching mosfet have abnormal voltage. So 5valw is having 5v then try hitting power button - gate has voltage from ec / chipset (i forgot). But the output...Leave a comment:

How to check for short circuit
Hi Guyz,
I have a short circuit problem. When adapter plugged in the voltage of the jack adapter messed up. But when I took off NIKOS P2003EVG (P-Channel Fet Enhanced), the voltage going in is good.
The questions is how to to check for the faulty components? or how to check the + or - shorts? Example in capacitor? or in transistor ?
Anyone can help me please.. i have both digital multi meter and analog multi meter...

Tried checking on TPS51124... VIN got normal 5V.. but V5FILTER HAVE 5 VOLT, THEN WHEN THE LED LIGHTS BLINKING ONCE.. THE VOLTAGE DROP THEN GOES UP NORMAL AGAIN... SAME THING HAPPEN WITH VOUT1 AND VOUT2... HAVE GOOD VOLTAGE OUT BUT WHEN LED BLINKING DROP DOWN THEN NORMAL AGAIN. IT HAPPENED JUST WHEN PLUGGED IN CHARGER, BEFORE PRESSING POWER BUTTON. CQ510 Blinking Light dan charging output not normal
Hi there, I am having problem with hp Compaq CQ510... everytime plug in power adapter, suddenly D12, D11 light on blinking once each. Then off. Then blink again one each then off. Power button does not work at all. Check output voltage on charging pin comes resulting less than 5 volt. then everytime the lights on then the voltage becomes less than zero then lights off come again to 5 volt...

Hi all,
I have laptop acer extensa 4630z.. the problem is everytime it's turned on, stay on for couple seconds without any display then shut off.
I already remove everything except ram, mainboard, power board. I have tried connecting straight to the power adapter still have the same problems. Same problems still occur whether running on battery or through power adapter.
No heat at all on all of the components.
Anyone had any idea on this problem?
