That is the last component I would use with this amp.

Well as you say, it looks cool, wonder how it sounds. Almost certainly the lowest common denominator will be the power supply.

Most of these parts were manufactured for car audio, so don't expect much more than that.

Hopefully a short signal path and a good ps- it should be clean. Depends on the topology. But for the cash, it's an evening or so's entertainment.

Got a problem with a non booting toshiba satellite p10. Tracked it down to missing 5 volt rail for isl6247. Vcc is short to ground.

This was a progressive failure (longer time to boot, multiple tries). Does that sound like caps? Anyone any experience similar to this?

Hey guys, new poster on here, but I have been viewing for a while.

Got a Toshiba Satellite P10 that I want to repair for a friend. Got power up to one side of the fets, but the chopper controller isn't doing anything- it's an ISL 6247 cr. Spotted some random voltages ~1.2v 2.7v and other randomness. Would be nice to find a datasheet, but intersil have not got back to me yet.

Fixed smps and surface mount audio stuff before- I am reasonably competent. Would be nice to get this up and running- seems a waste all that energy went into making this thing and for the sake...
