Tried backing up but get error can not identify the bios.
i understand that those sectors are where the info is stored - so i should copy it in to it from old dump?
I have way smaller brain than you so i would appreciate elaboration on that.

Thank you for repaired dump ill try soon.
I'm new to bios at the level you talk - i might have presented myself as more knowledgeable thank I'm - I'm just a fool.
I understand you did not find an abstraction layer provided by my system management BIOS that provides information about my computer's hardware to my operating system and you want me to back it up using [B]Universal BIOS Backup Toolkit 2.0
I just tried and get error of can not identify bios - lol something is really wrong...

Hi.
Thank you for being here guys.
I have an issue with my s7 as well.
I went ahead and dumped the original bios from my W25Q128JV Lenovo Legion s7 15IMH5
S/N: PF2KVBVQ
I believe bios is corrupted and i would like a new instal but as there is only one available and i have it already i cant just install it from windows level as you know.
I will attach original dump.
Would someone kind enough help me with getting new bios and importing all my serial numbers and other info from my original dump to nice and clean and fresh bios file so i can program it...

Re: Lenovo ThinkPad T470 bios password decrypt
OKso I'm stupid and I completely forgot the fact that to get in you need to press F1 as it boots up lolol. It is not like I do this first time but for some reason I just left it without pressing awaiting post screen lol. I'm stupid - good that nobody replied that would be awkward lol.
This worked 2nd time now so I thank you once again....

Re: Lenovo ThinkPad T470 bios password decrypt
Hi. Thank you in advance.
I have 2 t470 identical once.
Both have supervisor password and now I cant set date and time etc.
One I was able to patch it with Lenovo patcher the other one
when bios file patched gets stuck on Lenovo start-up screen - give no output to keyboard internal or external and I can't do anything but when reflashes with original bios it starts to work like normal - still with password as i could not execute the patched bios.
I even tryed to load patched bios file from the one...

Re: SM-R180 Samsung Galaxy Buds Help Identifying component in charging circuit.
Hi thank you, this looks very interesting. Do you think the one I have is faulty as I do?
The more i look at it the more sense it makes, if I'm not wrong this is like a user protection to stop user from shorting the circuit when there is no earbuds in the case , when they are in there sensor kick in and allows V and Ground to be there charging earbuds.
OR AM I STUPID? lol....Last edited by ecolaptop; 02-06-2023, 07:45 AM.

SM-R180 Samsung Galaxy Buds Help Identifying component in charging circuit.
Hi.
Could anyone have some hart and pity to help me identify this transistor? I believe this is a transistor but who knows... .
When it was in I had no ground on charging pins of actual earbuds. When unsoldered ground came back and now it is charging itself, it is charging earbuds as well and that did not happen before.
When I test it it don't look like transistor but like double diode leg 2(middle - possibly emitter) to 1 and 2 to 3 connected showing 0.8 volt drop, in reverse it is open circuit and across 1 to 2 both directions it is open circuit.
Is this a double...
