Maybe this is not a problem with the BIOS? A year ago I got this notebook and it had the problem described here. After cleaning the ME region, it suddenly works again. But after a few months it stopped working and the same problem like now appears. I had no time to fix it and leave it in this state until now. I resoldered my cable to the flash chip and readout and flashing incl. verifying works. So I tried the same procedure like that time but now I can't get it working again. I have exact the same problem. I tried to replace the ME Region.bin and reflash the modified outimage, but it does not change anything.
Model: HP Probook 640 G1
Mainboard: 6050A2566302-MB-A03
Extracted BIOS and board images are attached.
