Re: Asus x540ur 930 mx bios dump
Hi friend, greetings from Argentina. You know I had this exact same model. S510u At first it had a problem it didn't power on. Pressed power and light blinked. I resetted CMOS. Worked perfectly. But I suspected it was caused by Windows 11 update. I've seen many machines with 11 having altered or corrupted bios causing strange issues.
I rolled back and installed windows 10 , machine worked fine , but now I'm getting " kernel mode exception not handled". I'm asumming this might be bad memory it's got 2 ram sticks or...

Re: Dell Inspiron 3521 not (+3VS) and (+5VS)
Sorry but I'm mixing up myself, SUS# is generated by EC at startup. But It's active low , does this mean it has to be logic 0v at startup or 3volts. It's got # to the side meaning it's low. Then on schematic there's SUSP which should be logic high around 3.3volts where is it genrated?

Re: Schematic for hp 15-s da0p5dmb8c0 Quanta 0P5
Friend i'm having aproblenm with 5570E and tnm5000. I manage to read the KBC perfectly, as IT89xx series. But when I want to program it starts to program and then says verifiy error. Something strange goes on with somed ITE getting blocked , why does this happen or hows the way to fix this....

Re: HP omen 15 does not power on
Hello muy friend, my story is similar I just got from a friend a DAG3AAMBAF0 rev F. This was the initial behaviour.
- Power jack on dc connected Solid light, when press power button turns off and then solid again.
Measured all coils , I had 5v always, near it there's 3v always but wasn't there. I removed current sense resistor and measured resistance and had a short. Injected voltage and Charger IC heated up with thermal camera. Removed it replaced and same behaviour again. All coils resistance showing...

Re: Samsung LN32A330J1D - BN44-00191B No secondary No Standby Sort of
Hey friends , I just came in here, cause I'm fixing this psu, from a friend of mine. I cleaned all the glue which was oxidising many components, a transistor near the main cap, QB802 transistor full of this sticky shit.
I realised RM801 has been heated up and it showed around megohm value, on the schematic says it should be 220ohms , so I replaced just to test with 2 50ohms in parallel , but as soon as I plug everything it starts to heat up in flames.
What could be posibly wrong, should I use some...

Re: Bakon 950D "Extra Crispy" mod (19->24 Volt)
Thanks for all the help. I finally managed to solve the issue when it didn't turn on. Now it turns on and off without having to discharge the primary electroyltic.
I did by replacing r11 by two resistors of 10k in series giving around 19.8k ohms.
Now here goes the problem, the unit sometimes starts to heat the tips and sometimes doesn't. I can hear PWM triggers sometimes and sometimes it get stuck. Any ideas about this? . I can't understand why something so simple get so complicated for...

Re: Bakon 950D "Extra Crispy" mod (19->24 Volt)
Sounds great you didn't bother changing the output caps. Anyways to see I did understand correctly I should have to replace R11 with 20k and R24 I removed it and replaced by a 3.3k . Correct me if I'm wrong. If changing those value I still go through the issue it doesn't turn on once more. What else would I got missing, could it be a different board revision. or what the heck is wrong?...

Re: Bakon 950D "Extra Crispy" mod (19->24 Volt)
So many thanks for helping. I'm going to try instead of 22k , 20k for R11. I remove R11 and replace it by 20K resistor. Have you seen this schematic I found in the russian forum, I was reading about the work of TL431, to see how it adjusts the voltage. But let me know what do you think about this russian schematic, will try with 20K . The weird issue is correct me if I'm wrong, Pin 7 is DEM and sets the trigger for the OVP protection, if it exceeds 3.75 OVP triggers and shuts down but I calculated with...

Re: Bakon 950D "Extra Crispy" mod (19->24 Volt)
So I know it's quite an old post but I did the mod with my bakkon 950D, I changed R11 to 22k resistor and R24 to 3.3k , I added the zener diode on the gate of the mosfet. Now here goes the problem, I changed the temp to full throttle around 450C on the display but with a thermoouple on the tip I'm getting max 320C degrees. Then I switch it off.. switch back on and it's not turning on.. what I did realise was if I fully discharge the primary eletrolytic it turns back on. So I think something is going on with the OB2202....

Hey my friend how did it go with the acer you were trying to bring back to life? I've checked your thread I'm into chip level repair.

Re: Dell 3421, No Power.....
Hi bro I was googling around to get the schematic of this board, and I finally
could get it on this thread.
So what happens is I got this notebook, and as soon as I plug the dc adapter the PSU light goes off. So there's a short somewhere. some guys form chip level repair told me to go straight to the VCC core section and lift all fets and check them I did that, and fets were fine.
Then I focused myself on the VIN section I lifted all fets and they were fine.
any ideas how I should go on, I'm thinking...
