My six year old Panasonic TH-42PX60U suddenly started showing thin vertical lines (evenly spaced at about 5/16") across the entire display. It shows up on all inputs, but no on the TV menus.

I suspect that I'm dealing with a faulty logic board (bases on some posts I've read on forums), but would like to know what you think. Is it really the logic board? Is this worth trying to fix? Looks like I can get a used logic board on ebay for around $20 or so.
