Where to buy this LCD ribbon
I have this kill-a-watt device and the lcd ribbon is bad. Where can I buy the replacement ? TIA...

Gateway (ECS) MCP61PM-AM problem
I have this weird problem with this board :
- Initially, system is off and unplugged. When power cable is plugged into PSU, the PSU fan starts, CPU fan spins at max speed ( very loud noise ). Using Kill-a-watt to measure , it draws around 35W.
Next, the front power button is pressed and CPU fan spins slow down ( by smartfan ), screen on, boot to OS and work fine. No BSOD whatsoever, running intel burntest, mem test, Prime are all fine.
- When clicking on Shutdown in OS, screen will turn off. However, PSU fan still runs, CPU fan still runs. Now, if S3 state...

Need advice on this Dell 2007FP
Hi all,
A local wanna sell this LCD, but it has a problem - yellow dot/area at top left corner as shown in pix . Is this fixable or a sign of dying soon ? Also, any bad history with this model. Thanks...

I just resolder transformer joints, still persists. While the LCD is on , there is no clicking sound. Let it idle (yellow LED) for around 30mins, the LCD will turn itself off and clicking sound is heard.
Any suggestion on which caps I should (how to) check or replace? They all look OK to me , no bulging. Thanks

PS does not work on heavy draw
Hi all,
I have a generic ATX P S. Trying to jump start and reading all output 12V, 5V fine. However, when I plug it into a computer or LCD , it will stop working after few sec. Please advise .

Following this thread for years, but I was lazy, using a newer LCD, and my rarely used 1800fp working fine with an external atx PS. However, I decide to give it away, so trying to fix it ...
Here is my current problem. Whenever I want to start the LCD, I have to use a hair dryer to blow on top of the PS board for 30s-1min, then the LCD will start to work perfectly.
I already tried to resolder D903 and D906, but problem still persists . When turning it off, I hear...
