I salute the tech giants in the house. Please i wish to find out, if i allow my programmer auto detect my BIOS chip and gives it a name that doesn't match what's written on the chip, could this affect the functionality of the chip when i reflash with the backed up bin file?... -

Greetings from Cameroon. I have an HP Elitebook 840 G6 with a BIOS password. i waes wondering if i could use any of the already onlocked bin files here to flash my bios chips?
I have desoldered both chips, used HpUnlocked to unlock the chips and reflased with a RT809F programer but it still password locked...Leave a comment:
