Dell E153FPb flashes on twice then black screen
I have a Dell E153FPb screen that I bought to resell. Once I switch it on it powers on for about 2 seconds but with smooth horizontal lines crossing the screen then goes black. after about a second it comes on again with the Dell RGB screen on the screen but still with the same lines crossing the screen.
I took it apart and tested the LCD panel with another monitor of the same make and the LCD panel is fine. I now think that ift is something to do with the circuit part of the monitor.
I used a multimeter to test the output voltage from the power supply side to the logic/Display... -
Benq q5C3 monitor power LED blinking no display
I have a Benq 15" monitor model Q5C3. When I connect to AC and power it, it just blinks on and off. Sometimes there is a display on screen but it flashes on and off just as the blinking power on LED. I have checked all the C5706 transistors and they seem fine to me. What else do I check? -
Benq 19" lcd monitor goes blank afer seconds of powering
I have a Benq monitor model Q9T4 that goes blank after 2-3 seconds after power on. I have tried to look inside for any bulging capacitors, but they all look fine(at least externally). I tried swapping CCFLs (both top and bottom) to no avail. But I noticed that the CCFLs only light up halfway(only one end of both CCFLs lights up with a pinkish glow then goes off).
Anybody with an idea what is happening here? -

Hp G61 shuts down abruptly after 3-5 minutes of usage
I have a HP G61 laptop. It uses the AMD sempron processor. The laptop is about 2 years old and therefore out of warranty(It came with 1 year warranty). Once I switch on the laptop it works for about 3-5 minutes, then shuts off abruptly without any warning. I've tried swapping R.A.M, HDD, and removing wireless card, but the problem still persists.
What could be the problem, what components do I check? Thanks -
Dell E152fpb power LED blinking on and off
I have a dell LCD monitor model E152fpb. When I connect to power it starts blinking on and off. The back light comes on momentarily then goes off. Which components do I check? Any help will be appreciated. -

I found a FET the MTP2955V FET had a dry joint. I resoldered it and lowered the resolution on my PC, the monitor now works fine. I was using a resolution of 1280 by 1024 the 15" screen will only take 1024 by 768.Leave a comment:

With a signal applied I turn on the monitor. The power on LED is orange, it then turns green and instead of displaying the input from the computer it displays the normal Dell RGB message.Leave a comment:

I have a dell 1504fp monitor. Once I connect it to a computer and power it on it displays the normal Dell welcome screen message but there is no input signal from the computer. What could be wrong with it? Which components do I check?
