  • Re: LENOVO BIOS AUTO-PATCHER for Supervisor Password Removal

Your recovery work is interesting, from what I understand by putting the Bios with the Patch the pc does not start and only emits beeps with a black screen and the cpu fan already for a few seconds, just what happens to me, so you assume that it is produced by the configuration of the "Security Chip" which I assume is configurable in the BIOS. But I have the problem that with the original Bios I can't enter to understand if I have the TPM enabled, giving RETURNs without any character it doesn't...

In addition to my message, I also attach the original file and the Patch one I got, but with this I get that it doesn't work by reprogramming the eprom with the original BIOS, it works as before, protected by password. It is a Lenovo T495 version 20NK. I performed the operations with the main battery and backup battery disconnected.

Good day, I'm looking for someone in the forum who can give me information on whether he has managed to remove the password on a T495, from what I see in the messages from SmartGuru@24 and from black0hackers it seems so, I'm asking for your help as by patching the my Bios as indicated in a few previous messages I only get a series of sounds the black screen and the cpu fan that spins for a few seconds then stops, I also waited a certain time by pressing keys but no none. Thank you...

Good day, I kindly ask for help from the Lenovo T495 type 20NK pc forum, I dumped the Bios and through your program I generated the PATCHED bin, mounted the W25Q128FW eprom, I turn it on but I only get a black screen and a series of beeps, reinstalling the original bios leaves quietly. Now reading here on the forum I noticed that many complain about this problem, but it seemed to me that two people talking about the T495 have succeeded. Before making other attempts, I would like to understand if anyone has managed to get...

Hello everyone, I'm looking for help for Lenovo T495 pc with AMD Ryzen the card is a fa495 nm-c131 rev 1.0. The PC has the password on the BIOS and I have already tried to perform the procedure described on the first page of the post. Saved the Bios, subjected to the cleaning tools, saved Bios on eprom. The Eprom is a W25Q128FW (1.8Volt), so I have regularly programmed the eprom with voltage matching, no problem here, now I put it back together and I only get black screen and and a series of sounds, the CPU fan after power...

  • Re: New Members - please post your introductions here

Good day to all the members of this Forum, I am writing from Italy, I am a lover of electronics in general and as usually happens, acquaintances and friends turn to me for technical problems, I came here as I was looking for information to rearrange a pc of the latest generation and I notice that in this forum there are people who far exceed my current knowledge, I thought I'd sign up to maybe share a little bit of my knowledge trying to learn some of my new ones, look I'm not really a youngster, but the curiosity of the subject...
