I recently picked up a used Insignia NS-P502Q-10A 50" plasma TV that would not power on from a friend. "Please see if you can fix it for cheap" (We've all heard that)

It had a badly arcing y-sus board (would crack and spark like a stun gun!) so I threw in a replacement, checked all connections and grounds and it fired right up. The picture is excellent and all functions work, except for one thing! There's a single line of sparkling pixels on the left edge of the screen. New user here. Just wanted to thank everyone for their excellent advice. I recapped my power supply and now have a "more working" monitor. :-) I still have lots of screen noise and it will sometimes go dark, so it looks like I'll need to recap the logic board. Wish me luck!
