Hello all,
laptop has just black screen and fan runs at full speed after few seconds.
I downloaded BIOS package from HP site,found the version from backup file (U86),but i can`t flash it,because file is too big.
Original backup has 32768kB,file from HP has 37629kB.
Also i cannot find DMI and windows licence in original file.
SN# 5CD2465755 if it matters...

HP 250 G6 just backlight on screen
Hello all,
i have HP 250 G6 board nr. DKL50/CSL52 LA-E821P SN# CND8101FN3.
When i reset BIOS laptop starts and shows some text but when i hit ENTER and laptop reboots there is just backlight visible on the screen,nothing more.
Pls. fix the original BIOS if possible.

Hello all,i`v got dead monitor,board model 715G8068-M0F-000-005I.
There is 19V and 5V present on board where external power supply is connected,Enable and Dim signal is no present.
I measured voltages and resistance on coils present on the main board,pls. take a look.
Front LED just blinks for a split of the second when PS is connected.... -

Hello all,still trying to make this machine work.
I bought dead board where i found shorted high side mosfet on 1.2V RAM power rail.
Mosfet removed and replaced,but there is very low resistance (about 5 Ohms,on good board is about 400) on rail leading to memory controller/cpu.
On RAM power rail there are kOhms now (i removed solder from jumpers to measure power and controller side separatelly).
Board power LED just blinks for a second and went off.

OK,since original bios dump was a nogo i used both chips from machine with fried board.
And it`s working just fine

Sorry for late reply,still trying to manage what to do with it...
Now it just sat for 2 weeks in shelf with other 3 laptops on top and it is working again.
But when i try to connect with internal wifi it freeze the system almost completely...
Without wifi connected works fine.

Hello all,
i have troubles with Dell Precision 7510 board LA-C541P Rev:2.0 A01.
It didn`t POST and it`s throwing 2amber and 1white code which is CPU failure.
Sometimes it`s just start working when disassembled and put back again,but with a lot of BSOD when i tried to install W10,sometimes it is working completelly fine unless switched off.
I tried to make some pressure on CPU BGA socket,but no change of behavior.
BIOS has been programmed,also BIOS chip was changed and still nothing.
Not working board just... -

Hello all,
i bought dead Probook 470 G5 with burned mosfet.
Now the machine is powering on,but with black screen,Caps lock and Num lock is blinking 5 times.After that fan goes at full speed.
I tried files in this thread even some from 450 G5 thread,but no luck.
Can you pls. try to clean my backup dump?

i`v got the same problem as mentioned on first article in this thread.
I tried some other BIOS files downloaded from this site,but it`s even worse-USB drive is not accessed at all and CPU is cold.
With old BIOS USB drive LED is flashing shortly,then is allways on,CPU is warm.
