TV runs normally but after 10-15 mins of watching. The TV gets less than a second of white screen (see 5 sec video) then it continues normally, just for it to do again after about 10-20 seconds over and over. If the menu is out it does it to the menu as well.
I check the boards for bulging capacitors but there's none, I reseated the cables as well.
Help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Samsung 55NU6900 - Heard a pop then tv is dead, burnt cap & dead fuse
I took off the burnt cap, the pads are shorted and more caps are shorted --the blue caps and the square cap (maybe more).
The mosfet is shorted also and plenty of diodes are bad (going both ways, could this be due to faulty mosfet?)
Thanks for the tip. I'm going to remove the bad mosfet to see if it affects the shorted caps and bad diodes. I'll open up the screen too and check for visible damages on the backlight....

Samsung 55NU6900 - Heard a pop then tv is dead, burnt cap & dead fuse
Hi All,
Before replacing what I know to be bad even with my novice experience. What I have checked at the moment is the fuse and the obvious burnt capacitor. I haven't bought any replacement parts yet.
I still have no idea how this happened but could just be plain old turned bad. What other stuff should I consider buying as replacement? thanks in advance.
Edit: I saw that a replacement board can be had for about $50. I would rather attempt to fix before just replacement the board.

Re: Samsung UN55TU7000 no picture but have power, backlight, and sound
Thanks you for the tip! I had to remove the heat shroud to locate this one hiding and this might be the culprit. I don't have the exact replacement for this one though. Any suggestions just for testing purposes?...

Re: Samsung UN55TU7000 no picture but have power, backlight, and sound
More information from me. I just got around to checking the voltages in the shorted panel. I have no voltages on the dots (VGL,VSS,AVCM,TVCM). I looked up flash memory 25Q32JVSIQ Winbond and measured it as well. I didn't get any VCC voltage but I got 3volts from pin1 (chip select)....

Samsung UN55TU7000 no picture but have power, backlight, and sound
Hi all,
I obtained this Samsung UN55TU7000 and want to save to save from going to the dump. It has backlight when I turn on the TV, it stays lit, and when I click the menu on the remote the backlight blinks and has sound.
I've search here and looked up pages after pages but I can't find the specific one. I'm only equipped with soldering iron and multimeter for now. I've found plenty of shorted caps in the right side panel (when looking in front of TV) itself since this Samsung has the T-con integrated. No short on the left side. The pattern of the shorted caps is as followed....

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hello! Just introducing myself. I've been working on fixing broken things all around the house. Been youtubing stuff here and there. For the most part it helps but I got stumped with a TV and would like to learn here. Thanks for having me.
