hello, so after flashing a firmware file to a previously firmware-locked MacBook (2015 a1466 820-00165 2925), the MacBook starts up and is lock free but the serial number is not the original (which I understand), but after changing the serial number back to the correct one in the bin file and re-flashing, the MacBook doesn't start. Is there a trick to this? does the model number also have to be changed? does that whole line have to be changed? 'thanks in advance everyone

Received this Flex 6-14IKB, DOA, the owner was pretty sure the problem was the charging port as the computer had stopped charging the battery. Tried a different battery, same result (the laptop worked fine while it had sufficient battery). Tried replacing the charging port for good measure, no change. Found that one of the main power IC’s PU301 was lacking readings basically all the way around it, so i changed that as well just in case. But found a bad mosfet that supports PU301, changed it, resulting in proper readings on PU301 and for the first time got sign of life—amber led’s...

I'm repairing a charging issue on a Lenovo flex ideapad 6-14ikb 81EM.
Two related mosfets short to ground. One I was able to find here in the U.S. The other >>>AON6324<<< an Alpha & Omega product, I ended up purchasing on eBay from a U.K. seller to hedge my bets as I continue to look for a U.S. seller. DigiKey says it's obsolete, and I don't trust “similar” mosfets that DigiKey points you to due to their specs not being really close. I also have looked on mouser.com, amazon of course, mercari for good measure....
