Re: Sony KDL-32L4000 doesn't like to turn on
Just so Ibget this right, I remove the back cover, plug in the power supply, push the power button, and the pin will physically rise? or will the voltage rise?

Sorry PlainBill, didn't notice this the first time, each individual wire is labeled, here they are: PS_ON, PWR_ERR_DET, 4VSB/1.2A, GND, GND (NO WIRE), GND (NO WIRE), 4VSB/1.2A, 4VSB/1.2A (NO WIRE).

Ok, is there an easy way to do that, or should I have a professional look it over?

Re: Sony KDL-32L4000 doesn't like to turn on
It's not labeled, but it seem to get bundled with the connector above it and then goes to the component/hdmi etc. inputs.

Sony KDL-32L4000 doesn't like to turn on
Hi, I have a Sony KDL-32L4000 LCD tv that really hates to turn on. I have to unplug it, wait until it clicks, plug it in, wait for 2 clicks then try to turn it on, and repeat until it turns on (usually takes about 8-10 tries), other than that nuisance it works perfectly, I am new to repairing or diagnosing tvs, and google wasn't helpful. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
