You should desolder/remove the RAM? My RAM for example is immediately heating up to 135 degrees celcius when I look at it under thermal camera. So you need to locate if there is short and remove that chip!! If there is short other parts won't get necessary power and it won't boot up......

I think I have the same problem with RAM, the onboard RAM and the added 4GB default ram heats up to 100 centigrade degrees when I disconnect the battery and power up the device using only the adapter. Again there were no LCD light; LCD did not power up only the power+HDD activity lights were lit.
Do I have to disable the on board RAM or I need to completely remove it by desoldering?
