I am having difficulties on my CRT with setting the right volume. After it goes past five, it's as high as it would be at 12 or 16. It does that with the headphone jack and from the speakers. If I do not use this jack where it is, it crackles in the sound when it plays a game during some sound pitches. I have used different cables and consoles. Yet, it does the same thing. I use this TV for retro gaming the picture is great for what it is. I just want to fix the sound amplifier or whatever it is. I want to know if I can order a part(s) from somewhere or how to fix it and order caps and what not...

Weird name I know. I am new to this forum. I am planning on fixing an older 2002 CRT TV. I have experience fixing videogame consoles, as well as destroying a couple while I was first on the journey of fixing and repairing old stuff to make it new again. I have been doing this for at least 4 years now and have had some decent results. I just need a little guidance.
