Ok little update, I managed to brick the laptop or something right as I was flashing back the original and calling it a day for a while. Now the power led just cycles on and off, no fans no display. Long day.

I'm trying to modify my BIOS to unlock the advanced menus and unlock the processor power limits. The first thing I have tried is reading the BIOS from the laptop and opening it up in amibcp, and changing the advanced menu to User. However, no matter what tiny change I make to the BIOS, when I flash it back to the laptop with a programmer it says there is corruption and the BIOS needs to be recovered.

I've also tried rolling back the BIOS to an older version. I made the mistake of updating to the latest version and now I cannot even edit the CFG and OC...
