Hi all, i am new to troubleshooting laptops. Therefore i need some help.

I have Macbook Pro A1708 820-00840-A which does not boot anymore.

I measured a little bit around:

Usb power meter readings: 5,113V 0,327A
On the other usb port the power meter does not show anything

C3101 - 5,143V
C3100 - 2,512V
C3108 - 3,342V
C3200 - 2,508V
C3208 - 2,075V
C3201 - 0V

DIODE mode readings:
C3213, C3011 - 0,044
C3214 - 0,113

Are the diode mode readings an indicator...

Hi all,

i am 28 years old, from germany and until now i just repaired measurement devices.

Now i have a faulty macbook pro and i started measuring around and it looked quite interesting. I am a newbie and need some help. So i found badcaps. Hopefully i can find some help from you.
