Is there a way to find it out? Probably a guide of sorts? When switching my PC on it asks for a user password. It also gives me an option to hit ESC and enter the master password. (I don't know either of these passwords)...

Unfortunately the drive is not OPAL compliant (refer attached picture). I did go through all your posts before posting this new thread. I have gotten in touch with my friend to see if he can hand over the toughbook for a few days so that I can try something with it. Will keep everyone posted once I get a hold on the laptop....

Recently a friend of mine bought in a Panasonic toughbook CF-54 with a locked BIOS. I was able to unlock the BIOS with the help of good samaritans here. After unlocking I realized that there was an SSD password. Before unlocking the BIOS, when I switch on the laptop, it would boot into a custom windows 8 with preloaded software without asking for any ssd password. Now I did not know the password and as it was urgent, I bought him a new ssd and sent him his way home. Now I have the old ssd with the password. (Attached the picture). I inserted this SSD into an old dell laptop and it prompted me...

Hi! Can someone kindly remove the password for me?
I am able to access the BIOS as a user but pretty much all of the settings are grayed out. The seller who sold me the laptop does not know the administrator password for the BIOS. So, here I am. Would be glad if someone can help me out.
