Its very common to remove MDM from Apple machines, however..
I received a ProBook 440 G7 in recycling from a client (it had a broken screen and they deemed it EoL).
Long story short after repairing it it has MDM. I can remove the BIOS password via editing the BIOS, no problem.. but MDM remains.
I know with Mac that the MDM is tied to an online registrar with serial numbers. Is this the same for Windows laptops? (typically to remove MDM we change the Serial number)
This laptop has an EC bios that cross checks the main bios and will "fix"...

Hello, my name is Down2Earth, D2E is fine if youre lazy. I'm 25 and have been messing with and repairing computers for about 15 years. I mostly repair machines now for a hobby or extra income.
