Re: Dell P1110 21" CRT repair thread
Thank you so much for replying. I do very well with soldering so I can pretty much handle it all. I did one of those 19" Westinghouse monitor power supply re-caps successfully. P1130 is just huge and many components. Inside is spotless and everthing is readable. Just need some pointers for another successful repair. Can I upload pitures at Badcaps? It would help. Thanks

Re: Dell P1110 21" CRT repair thread
I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers on a no power condition on a P1130 Dell monitor I have had since new? It had a great picture until it went out in July. Thanks!

Re: Sony (Dell P1110) Trinitron Monitor with 1 bad cap...
Topcat, I know this is an old thread, but I also have one of those 21" dell trinitons monitors which I love, too. I have had it apart to clean the dust out a few times, also to tighten a few screws to keep the degaussing noise down, and it is perfectly clean inside and out. One day, on powering it up, I heard a couple of snaps and the picture collapsed to a line down the middle of the picture tube. It is now, not powering up, and the LED power light now blinks yellow when I would plug it in. I am capable of advanced...

Re: Another Westinghouse 19" monitor issue
I would like to thank everyone who provided information on this issue. I followed it all and successfully completed a repair on a tv. Bad caps all the way. I used the cap list to place an order from Digikey. Pulled apart the tv and replaced them as instructed. Works perfect! Thanks Badcaps!!!
