Is it a problem other than BIOS? LENOVO ideapad 320S-13IKB

    I own the following models

    LENOVO ideapad 320S-13IKB
    CPU:Core i5-8250U
    MODEL:81AK
    BIOS TIP: winbond 25Q64JVSIQ 1833

The power comes on, but the screen is not displayed and remains black.
The backlight on the keyboard and the power light kept coming on and off.
The CPU fan was not running.

I thought there was something wrong with the BIOS program.

I tried flashing the BIN file (WinKabylake.bin) created from the official BIOS updater...

I am sorry for the delay in replying.
Thank you very much for your help the other day.

I have a couple of questions about what you taught me.

Does the location and length of that DMI information area vary depending on the manufacturer, brand and model?

Are the ProductName, MTM, lenovo SN, and UUID always in the DMI information?

In this case, you said to search for "lenovo" to identify the area of DMI information, but how do you identify...

  • Re: I want to migrate the BIOS of Lenovo ideapad 720S-13IKB

I am sorry for the delay in replying.

I just flashed the file you gave me to the BIOS.
ProductName, MTM, LENOVO SN and UUID were migrated.
I was also able to activate my Windows 10 license.

Thank you very much for your help.

I would love to know how to do the migration.
    I have a few questions.

Are the ProductName, MTM, LENOVO SN and UUID in the DMI information?

How did you identify the area of DMI information this time?...

  • I want to migrate the BIOS of Lenovo ideapad 720S-13IKB

    Hello.

    I have a Lenovo ideapad 720S-13IKB.
It powers on and the CPU fan works.
I have a Lenovo ideapad 720S-13IKB and the power is on and the CPU fan is working, but the BIOS is not up and it keeps turning on and off.

I got the attached OFFICIAL BIN file from the internet, which is made from LENOVO's BIOS update EXE file.
    (OFFICIAL_FromUpdateEXE.BIN)
I FLASH'd this BIN file into the BIOS using CH341A and AsProgrammer.
BIOS came to be started up.

However, when I looked at the BIOS screen, ProductName, MTM, LENOVO SN,...

    Thank you very much.
    Your work is perfect.
The BIOS is up and running and I was able to activate the OS.

    Thank you very much.

I would like to learn more about BIOS information migration.
I would like to be able to do the migration myself.
I would like to be able to do it myself.
If it's too difficult to teach, can you tell me a site or thread that would be helpful?

This is because there are not many sites in Japanese that can help me.

Thank you for your reply. Thank you again for your help.
I have confirmed that ProductName and other information has been transferred to the file you provided.

I flashed the file you gave me to the BIOS.
However, the screen remained black and the BIOS did not start up again.

Also, the size of the backup file I attached was 8388608, while the file you gave me was 8388048.

Is it possible that I should be able to just FALSH this?
    Please let me know.

    Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen.

    I'm an engineer in Japan.
But I'm not familiar with hardware, so I'll study here.

I'm looking forward to working with you.
