Hi All
i have a mac without a display (it broke) and I am using an external monitor.
I installed win 10 using Bootcamp.
I could not boot into windows, I get the win logo for a couple of seconds and then no display.
I could log into OSX with the same display.
I guess the external display driver was not. installed while downloading win files.
Any ideas on how to fix that?

I have been running it like that for a while, but I had to reinstall the macOS and I messed up something on the reinstall process with the hard drive so the Mac would only start in the original monitor mode. I have tried EVERYTHING to try to get the second screen to show to start my new installation and nothing worked ( I realized later that I had the question mark folder).
So I figured I should disconnect the monitor cable so that the Mac would see only one monitor and be forced to use....Leave a comment:

Makes sense.
Probably this is why it is not working.
But this is a totally different experience, laptop without a screen
With a big 25” monitor.
Much better
I don’t need to be mobile with it any way .

The Mac is working better with only one monitor. I had to do that because I was reinstalling macOS and it could not log to the external monitor. So I thought let’s remove the MacBook screen and let the Mac see only one screen ( the external monitor ) and it is working perfectly . Much better when the Mac screen was on. But the only thing is that the keyboard Mack light is not working . Is it related to the screen connector?

I had to detach my MacBook pro 15 " 2018 (A1990) screen because it was broken.
The keyboard backlight dies not. work anymore.
Did I mess something up or the backlight cable is connected. to the screen?

ASUS RX 570 does not read on all MOBO!
Hi all
I have an ASUS RX 570 GPU that reads on some mobo and some no!
I tried all software probable fixes ( bios, UEFI, etc) and did not work.
Most probably it is a hardware issue.
Anyone has an idea where to look? where the problem could be?

I tried it on a GIGABYTE H110-D3A with an i3 6100 processor.
it was not detected on neither hive OS nor windows.
I am sure that the power is enough.
I also checked secure boot and it was disabled.

I have an. ASUS RX570 and an H!110 Gigabyte motherboards with i3 6100 processor.
The card is not detected in the device manager ( and Hive. Linux-based OS too).
Hence I can not install the driver.
I tried it on a friend's computer and it worked right away!
Any Idea where. could my problem be?

I have a 1600 watt PSU that does not output PGO. I thought it is a bad chip first, I managed to get an equivalent, But when I started measuring the inputs of the power supervisory chip I found that PGI signal is also zero. could that still be a bad chip? where it shorts the PGI pin?
if not what supplies the chip with PGI signal. where can I get schematics for this power supply? There are so many types of power supplies

I managed to get WT751002 which is a power supervisory chip equivalent to ST9S313, but whhen I measured the IC input voltages there where no PGI , and all other voltages to the chip where ok , i guess that means that the problem is not with the chip. Right? what supplies the PGI to the chip? do you have schematics or any hint please? I work with GPUs this is my first time to work with PSU Or could it be a bad chip shorting the PGI input! your help would be appreciated.

Hello
I have a 1600 watt power supply that is not outputting 5V from pin8 (PGO) of ST9S313 ( which is a PC POWER SUPPLY SUPERVISOR ) . All other voltages of the 24 pin connector are ok.
I can not get the IC or equivalent, can I just bridge 5v from anywhere on the board to this pin ( it is pin5 on ( the grey wire ) on the 24 pin connector.... -
XFX RX570 bios not detected
I have an RX570 that is detected in Windows as Microsoft basic display adapter. And GPUz does not read the bios and does not recognize the memory. I have changed and reflashed the bios but that did. not fix it. Help, please.... -
