Good things get better with age......LOL.
Looking closer at the top of the first photo in the OP, I can see the single LED strip.
Bad news is I didn't recognize that this is an edge lit display. It's too thin to be backlit. Good news is I only need (1) 52 LED strip/backlight....

I'm attempting to repair an orphaned Toshiba 40L310U TV. It appears that 3 of the 4(?) LED strips are burned out.
All of the replacement strips (V400HJ6-ME2-TREM1) I find have 52 bare LED's, yet all Youtube video's for similar size Toshiba's show 9-12 LED's with a round clear plastic lense. Do you recall what the replacement strip you used looked line?
