Hi! I'm Aaron, a computer plumber and itinerant soldering-iron pusher, and I've just run across Badcaps.net while poking around the net for info on bad caps and recapping -- I found a KLH R5100 surround receiver on the side of the road a couple weeks ago; when I powered it up, it had 60Hz hum and VFD flicker, and when I opened the case I found five bad caps right next to the power-supply transformer.

I've already ordered replacements and plan on recapping the unit tonight; I'll post later on with the results, and...
