Hi Sabretooth

Yes that is correct, but ALSO pin 6 goes through board to to the Positive side of Electrolytic Cap C611 (50V 47uF).

Hope all goes well!Re: Dell 2407WFPb Monitor - Bad Cap

Pin 8 connects to R603 on other side of board as in the Diagram on the link in my previous response.

I have checked this against a power supply board that I have on the bench.
Sorry unable to take a decent picture (close up)...

Hi Sabretooth,
Check out this link below, it is for a Polish forum, use google translate, it also has the Diagram for L651, hope that this may help you.
Good Luck!

Sorry.... apologies for my mistake, the Diode was actually D655 NOT D665 which is located next to R668 just beneath Heatsink for Q651. I can not give you the Rating as it is now back together again and being used by my son.Re: Dell 2407WFPb Monitor - Bad Cap

I actually bought this as a "Tested" board and can only presume that it was damaged in transit or by the "Agent" as they take it out of the packaging, photograph it to make sure it is exactly what you require, if he were to accidentally drop it then maybe the result of a broken Diode.
I did replace all the damaged components that I could find, (I am a Truck Driver and not an Electronics Engineer!) on the original board at considerable expense when compared to the replacement board. Not to mention that...

Hi, Well.......... It finally came (4H.L2K02.A01), used PSU from China, upon close inspection I noticed that Diode 665 was shot (physically cracked and broken up), I replaced this with the component from my "Faulty Board", also changed C605 (which is the instigator of all the problems) with a QUALITY slightly larger diameter one, plugged in and *****Hey Presto!!!!***** Back up and running, this board was obtained from Chinese E-bay through and English speaking Agent (Taobao Focus), there are still some available, so...

Hi, I actually did replace L6561D (the original was still intact), replaced the Mosfet and everything else upstream (that I mentioned in my earlier post)of the cap C605, upon powering up it blew the top off L651 immediately! There is a post a little further up which refers to a power supply board in a 2405 which is very similar 48.L1E02.A02 and uses the same components, it looks like IC 601 (200A6) PWM Driver for standby is also involved, also ZD601 both of which are used in the 4H.L2K02.A01 board.

Hi All,
I have the same problem with my Dell 2407 WFP power supply board, I have spent hours and replaced, C605,F601,R670,R669,IC651,Q651 and it still went POP! I would like to replace the board completely, but I am having great difficulty finding one. Does anyone know of a suplier in the U.S as they seem far more common there than in the U.K. It seems such a shame that this Monitor is destined for the tip just because the board is not available.
