I downloaded the above file and it didn't work for me. I had my original file sorted by some guys in a discord channel. Hopefully they might come in handy for someone - if using them try them in numerical order until you get to the one that works for you.... -

LENOVO E14 GEN4 AMD NM-E501 not charging
Morning all, I have a head scratcher if anyone can help. I have a Lenovo thinkpad 14 gen 4 (schematic attached). Plug charger in and it negotiates 20v but the USB C controller (UT2) Wont't drop pin 1 & pin 40 low to enable 20v to pass through UT5 to BQ (PU1). I've replaced all three chips with no change. However, I decided to test with a lenovo charger plug which I had lying around, this has a USB A socket so I used a A-C Cable, now this stays at 5v but pins 1 and 40 drop low and 5v flows to the BQ and actually charges the battery cycling 350ma to 1.2a draw on the charger. ok dude - thank you! I did double check using diode mode. I shorted drain to gate to discharge. Red probe on source black on drain and get 0.445 - should be OL right?Leave a comment:

if the machine is not switched off it runs fine, if it sleeps it wakes fine. but if you switch it off and leave it for more than say 50 minutes it will not power on - the blue power light flicks on then off and that's it - you have to unplug battery, insert charger, plug battery in and it will work fine. if you switch it off and try to turn it on again within 50 minutes it will turn on fine.
Measuring source to gate and drain to gate = OL - measuring source to drain I get 17kohms...Leave a comment:

Sorry, I should mention, when it fails to power on the USB C charger is only pulling 5v. I have to unplug battery and charger, plug charger in and it goes to 15v.Leave a comment:

morning guys, I have a really weird issue, Acer Chrome book - dead battery - not seen by the laptop. I've bought 2 new batteries, from different places but I think they are from the same manufacturer judging by the print on them. Scenario is this. Had to plug power in before battery initially for the device to turn on - charged the battery, removed charger and tested discharge rate for a while and it seemed fine. couple of days later it won't switch on - disconnect battery, plug charger in, turns on, connect battery and it's fine. Saturday I kept switching it off and turning it back on no issue... -

I've checked PU24 output to PL15 and I get 1.05V. The coil measure 61ohms to ground.
I've read gen 1-5 intel cpu have 11+1 pre requisites for PM_SLP_S4 to be produced by the CPU and Gen 6 upwards 13+1 to be produced by PCH. I can find the list of pre requisite for 11+1 but not 13+1 - I think this could be helpful if you have a source I could use. Here's a link to the 11+1 I found. Would you agree or am I veering off?

Morning guys, I've got this gaming laptop which attempts to boot. Plugged into DPS it draws 200ma for about 10 seconds and switches off.
On boot I get5v and 3v always. First noticed no CPU power rails although 19v is sat at the caps ready to go. Then noticed no RAM voltage which I figure needs to be active before the cpu power rail. I can't find any shorts on the board which is clean and undamaged. High and low side mosfets are ok, like I say, I can't actually find anything out of the ordinary. The RAM power IC has 5v coming in but nothing to S3&S5 which should enable the chip. See... -

Hi, I have this MBA which was water damaged, I've cleaned the corrosion and replaced a handful of resistors and both CD3215 twice.
PPBUS_G3H = 12.78V
I've attached all other measurements as per logi.wiki.
Currently stuck at 5v O.24A Not cycling.
I've put my own board in this mac and charged the battery - the mac appears to work absolutely fine other than charging. No device recognised on the USB ports - changed ports - same results.
