Do you mean voltages at CN701?

Re: BenQ T201WA (4H.09C02.A01 power board) doesn´t turn on
I know it is an strange behaviour. When I get no response of the power button, if I test the 6 pin of the 1203P60 and try the power button again, it works!!!
For instance, when I´m unplugging the power cord and plugging it again, it is not working ( I mean the power button) but if I use the tester to checking vcc between negative pin of the filter cap and IC 6 pin, it works again, so I think the IC is bad, it can´t get the minimum vcc to start, but with the tester, somehow, it´s getting the neccesary charge to...

Re: BenQ T201WA (4H.09C02.A01 power board) doesn´t turn on
Thanks PlainBill.
Well, voltage on pin 6 is, when off, always 10,23 v and no pulses. I say when off because now it´s working again!!!!!
I reassambled everything, like in the picture and the power switch worked.
I´ve been able to start it up.Then I´ve turned it off and it keeps on not working.
I´ve tried to read again the voltage at pin 6 (10,23v) and when trying to switch it on again, it has worked again (weird!!).
Now the LCD is on, with the green power led on, but not responses when...Last edited by blackrider1; 11-24-2011, 11:51 AM.

BenQ T201WA (4H.09C02.A01 power board) doesn´t turn on
Hello, one day ago, when I turnned my pc off, the power led of this monitor stayed orange with no response on pressing the switch.
I switched it on again and it was working fine, but when I pressed the power switch (of the LCD) instead of turning ON/OFF, it just showed me the bright control panel.
I disconected the power from the wall, and now, it doesn´t turn on anymore.
I checked fuse F601 (OK) Bridge rectifier BD601 (OK) and filter cap C605 (OK)
When checking IC601 (NCP1203P60) I´m getting 10 vcc at pin 6. Is it a normal meassure? Should I get between 16 & 20...

Re: Identifing a lost cap in a Kingstonkvr266x64c25/256
INCREDIBLE!!!!!!
I sent an email to Kingston asking for help identifying this capacitor:
" I need to know the capacitance to repair this capacitor that was lost, in this module. Can you give information about this capacitor, to fix this module? Thanks in advance."
And guest the answer:
[B]Dear .....
Thank you for contacting Kingston Technology.
Please notice that we can't give you that information.
Kind regards.

Identifing a lost cap in a Kingstonkvr266x64c25/256
Hello, I need to identify this lost cap,to fix this memory module:
Kingston Value Memory : kvr266x64c25/256
Does anybody know its electrical specifications? It was like the one on the right upper corner.
Thanks in advance....

Re: Fixing a DAC-19M005 Power Supply - check my DX:
I´m glad to ear you fixed it too. I got different datas when testing the new ones out of the PCB and when they were soldered to it. That´s because I replaced components that seems to be ok. I had them, so, why not?
I´m sure that one ( or more) of the last I replaced was causing the problem. I kept them, so, I´ll try to test them and find out wich one is wrong.
Thanks again.

Re: ACER AL2017.....not working...Led comes on....with-flashlight can see image
Well, finally I got it working. According to the DAC-19M005 datasheet, I decided to follow the line from 16,5 V to the backlights transformer (from F200 ahead), and replaced Q204 (it was burnt, as you can see in the first picture),Q201,Q203 and Q208 ( Q203 and Q208 were okay but I replaced them too).
And Q200,Q202 ,ZD200 (weird meassures when testing),Q207 and D216 (They were okay too).
And finally, not necccesary but I did it, Q209 and Q210.
And now, it´s working.

Here you have a DAC-19M005 datasheet, I posted on the Fixing a DAC-19M005 Power Supply thread:

Yes (#84):
"Recapped all the caps, changed Q206 and Q205, replaced F200 (although it was ok. I did it a continuity test. Why you guys do a GND-ONE TO OTHER SIDE test?) Replaced Q204 (it was burnt), Q208 (Not neccesary but I ordered them too), R210 and R206 (they were ok too)
All fuses seem to be ok (continuity test), I have 5V and 13,8 V at logic board connector (CN5).
All jumpers ( 0 SMD) are ok. "
That´s all I´ve changed.
Remember that my board hadn´t any blown fuse, just...

Re: Fixing a DAC-19M005 Power Supply - check my DX:
An interesting thing:
To check what lamp flashes, I turned off the lights in the room, and now, i can´t see anything flashing. After checking if I moved something or not, I realized that is not a flashing backlight, : It is the change of luminosity of the panel, when off ( completly dark) and when on ( a little more gray) This change of tonality look like a small and short flash but you can see that just with light in the room, not in the dark.
So, no backlights at all. Sorry for this mistake.

Re: Fixing a DAC-19M005 Power Supply - check my DX:
At the logic board connector I get
5 V pin ---5 V
13.8 pin ---15 v
At pin 10 of the inverter controller ---- 4,8--4,9 V . It goes up and down ( maybe my pulse ) but not more than 4,9 v
ThanksLast edited by blackrider1; 05-21-2011, 12:33 PM.
