I recently bought a second-hand Surface Pro 3 which unfortunately has BIOS/UEFI locked with an unknown password. I didn't know this until the latest Windows Update failed, and I could not go into BIOS/UEFI to disable Secured Boot for recovery...
I manage to fully recover it from factory image, but would also like to update the TPM firmware to latest version for security sake. Secured Boot needs to be disabled to do it - could not proceed without the BIOS password...
