Re: What's *your* latest mess-up?
Before even attempting to repair a Samsung 245BW I recently acquired, I was dismantling it and removing leads and whatnot so I could examine it. Well since I'm impatient and don't know how clips work, I ended up yanking and breaking off the very thin wires that went from the power led to the logic board.
After I stopped swearing I realised repairing it really wasn't as hard as I first thought and it's all working fine again (now for the hard part of actually figuring out why the monitor isn't working!!!).

Re: Samsung 245B Problems
Hey I've also got one of these monitors I'm trying to repair (I'm also a complete noob so please wait for someone more experienced to contribute!!) but I thought this post seemed very similar to your problem.
Of course I don't want to suggest you go replacing parts at random or I'm sure I'll get in to trouble, but if you hadn't seen this already it might help you out?Re: Samsung 245B Problems
