Re: Logitech G29 Help request to find smd transistor reference.
Heh I folded like a cheap suit and purchased a replacement Mobo for my wheel :P
I wasn't 100% confident even if I found the right part that I could replace it.. the part is damn small lol
Even tho I now have a working wheel I'll keep an eye on this page just just incase someone confirms the ic and has replaced it successfully.
Thank you for the help, I appreciate it.

Re: Logitech G29 Help request to find smd transistor reference.
I haven't got calipers to check size but I have a Multimeter.
On my Multimeter the diode test shares the same position as the continuity.
I uploaded a fresh pic with the measurement on it, on the "good" ic on the bad ic it beeps across all pins...Last edited by ploggy; 10-24-2023, 01:49 PM.

Re: Help request to find smd transistor reference.
Sorry to bump but this is exactly what's happened to my wheel PCB too but for me the burned component is at U9 on the PCB instead of U8 for you, I think they components are the same but I cant find out what the component is?
It says A1 on one of those parts I assume my burned one says A1 also but I don't know for sure due to the markings being burned off.
Can someone identify this component for me please?...

Re: Lenovo ThinkPad T470 bios password decrypt

Re: Lenovo ThinkPad T470 bios password decrypt
Hi all
I have dumped my t470 Bios file multiple times with a CH341A using both Colibri and ASProgrammer tool but none of the dumps CRC's seem to match?
I made sure to disconnect both batteries plus the cmos battery and I've taped the tamper switch down also.
I can post one of the dumps if you want but I'm afraid they wont be vaild dumps?
Is it possible to derive the password just from a dump?
EDIT: Looks like I can get matching dumps if I remove the tape from the tamper switch :P
