Sorin works at a totally different financial level that's called cheap and cheerful he probably charged sub £50 for that job and the owner gets a bit more use. The logic behind the repair is covered in several of his earlier videos. so basically speaking its horses for courses.

As the screen name suggests I'm 59 which will be age when joining (not changing it every year). left school at 16, since then work life is split 60/40 between car/truck repair and print finishing. Always had an interest in computers (started with a zx81) /electronics repair with varying degrees of success. Now due to health reasons have more time to dabble in electronic repair, and as this site has been recommended by numerous youtubers thought I would give it a go. Never too old to learn.
