Hi guys my name is chirs, I'm new to the site. I'm also a newbe, resently been toying around with electronic and fixed a few so purchase a broken gateway monitor in which the buttons light up and plays music on start up, but there is no display or backlight working. Form reading on the internet I Thought would be an easy fix so I bought a kit and installed all new capasitors (except for the tiny ones cause the kit did not include those) well as you can guess it did not work. It maybe my solder, like I said i'm new to this. Can someone give me any further advise? Here are some pictures and a link...
