When you switch on, the backlight is turning on?
it no, try to unplug the cable that feeds the inverter board and post results.
Also check F101.

The problems with AS15-F are gamma related, and from what I know are permanent. It might be a cold seam somewhere.

D4 seems to be 1N4007 and at that pin it seems to be a ferrite filter glued. Can you check that?
On the supply board there is F1 and F2 - fuses. Please check them for continuity.
Please check on the back of the power supply board for blown components.

Hello,
I have a Samsung LE40A659A1 LCD TV that has a strange problem.
The problem is shown in the .rar file ->.mp4 (phone camera).
After the TV is turned on, the st-by LED is blinking and the image appear.
The TV is "working" for 10-20s and then it will restart.
Trying to find the problem I have replaced the TCON board but the symptoms are the same.
I have tried to "bend" the panel but there is no modification with the picture.
I have checked all the voltages from the power supply board and all of them are OK.... -

On the PSU there is a pin (for measurement I suppose) Va.
On the panel sticker Va = 63V.
Measured Va = 63.8V.

The LDVS cable was disconnected by me to take the pictures.
I have done the test with CN2023 (short 3-4) and there is nothing on the display - black screen.

Hello,
I have a very strange problem with this plasma TV.
This TV arrived to me whit 2 caps swollen in the PSU which I changed.
After power on the sound is OK, it responds to the remote control but the display remains black. After that I've checked again in a dark room and the display is turning ON and remains light (very dim).
On the display is not any trace of the OSD.
I've measured Vs (207V measured, 205V on the panel sticker), Va (63V - 63V).
I've measured Vscan = -190V (Vs = -190V on the panel sticker).
I've tested the FET's from the... -

Hello,
I have a strange problem with this TV.
It seems that it do not want to respond to the commands given by pressing the buttons from the side or using the remote control.
When in stand-by it is possible cu turn it on via the remote control.
The problem is intermittent. One time I managed, with the remote, to enter in the menu and select the language but the communication stopped.
It is like a short-circuit because sometimes the menus chance by their self.
From the side keys the volume keys (+ & -) work almost all the time I press them....
No activity results to display
