Re: Switching the guts of 2 psus?
hmm, if i throw away the case and psu, i might as well buy a new pc.
I am planning to use this barebone for a htpc and some occasional gaming. So buying a new case annd psu is not a option here.

Re: Switching the guts of 2 psus?
I can't buy this type of custom sized psu, or else I wouldn't of asked.
Well, I 'm now thinking of just pulling everything out of the custom psu and using it as support for an m-atx psu. Would it be better? Or could i just modify the case so it would accept a m-atx psu?
Edit: The psu is a delta electronics custom psu that measures roughly 120mm*80mm*80mm...Last edited by tysercom; 01-25-2007, 08:07 AM.

Switching the guts of 2 psus?
hello everyone!
i have an asus barebone that has a custom-sized psu, would it be possible to swap everything from a smaller matx sized psu. I need extra power in the barebone.
any feedback would be great. thanks in advance!
