Goto wallyworld and in the computer section get a big can of blow off duster spray, take it home and turn the can upside down when u use it and u will have instant freeze spray to like 160 degrees below zero lol its much cheaper than freeze spray and is same thing but u just have to turn the can upside down lol
Anyway if u got a bad cap then that will most likely tell u cause when u hit the bad one the startup voltage will most likely increase to where it should be and the set will come right on,it may take a few mins to find it if thats...

Hi all, My name is Jack and I have been a tv tech and owned 3 shops over the past 30 years and had one of these polaroids come in for repair.

Some of the caps were pouched at the top and leaky on the pwr supply board so I replaced all the caps so I wouldnt be in a hit/miss situation.

Well let me back up, it came in for repair due to it shutting down,, from a dead cold start the display would light up approx one minute, then after it was warm it would only stay on for maybe 15 seconds so I figured it was a cap(s).
