Hello everyone, I need if someone has a working dump of the mother xu133t rev 1.3, thank you very much.

I attach my backup dump file, if someone are able to inicializate it or paste a new ME region

Also, if someone has a clear picture of the BIOS sector, to see all components around it.

    Thank you...

  • Re: CR620 (MS-16881) turn on once for 2sec and then die

hi all.... this post is old, but I have some weird failure with same model (MS-1681) Laptop is powering on, everything is fine... then turns off suddenly while is booting up, and after pressing power button nothing happens... I realize that testing it without HDD , booting Windows PE thru USB the laptop keeps on... even I have stressed it with CPU-z and everything is fine... when I put back HDD again goes off... (also tryed with others HDD).. question: I´m assuming the issue is on SATA controller or HDD power controller. Someone...

  • Re: X541uvk rev 2.0 no display

Well I have checked all components--- and GND is still in all the trace, I've removed all regulators and power switches, etc. And still in GND... I noticed that +3VA_DSW derives in +3VDSW_VCCPDSW... and this net, also in GND only reach to CPU... so, my conclusion was, CPU shorted. So, bye bye,...

Thank you, I will do that, but... what more could I do if I have removed all the components (also removed the cap shown in this picture)?... and the entire trace seems to be shorted to GND... could be a multilayer issue?...

  • Re: X541uvk rev 2.0 no display

Hello all, first at all sorry for my english... I´m fighting with one of these... X541uvk r.2...

If I cut the jumpers PJP8704 and PJP8702 I have 3VA and 5VA... I put the jumper again and I have 0V in both... If I only put PJP8702 I have 5VA stable ... So my conclusion was that I have a shortcircuit after 3VA... well... I attach picture...
As you can see I have Removed all the component
    PQ881
    PU8601
    PU8801

leaving the circuit pad alone, and it is shorted to GND.

    How can I continue...

  • Re: PS4 - missing components

    Hello, thanks @vinceroger69,
As you guided me... I've joined to the FB group that you posted, and someone suggested me that follow the example circuit on the datasheet found on Texas Instrument's website. And this worked to me. Hope this help to another, it was a ceramic capacitor 4.7uF x 25v and other smaller ceramic capacitor 1uF x 6.3v
Now, the PS4 is working again!
    thanks again

  • PS4 - missing components

Hi colleagues, I need some help. I´m trying to identify two components on the SATA controller. The PS4 is not recognizing any HDD ... As soon as I opened it I noticed that there are two missing component near the SATA conector .

Can someone please help me providing info about it. I attach photo

I suppose, that it is a capacitor and a resitor or a diode... but I dont have the schematic.

The controller is a 3219A from Texas Instrument, so I get the datasheet and found that the pins 7 and 8 go filtered to GND.. .as same as 9 and 10

    Thank you in...
